Always on the lookout for quirky projects, we stumbled across an old river boat tucked away in a barn back in 2020. Seeing its potential, we set about transforming it with a vision in mind — creating a unique, moored floating pod where guests can truly switch off and reconnect with nature.

Now lovingly restored, Lazy Daze sleeps two adults and is statically moored on its own private island, with private direct access to the pod and pond – creating a cosy and tranquil escape from the bustle of everyday life. All bed linen is provided.

On board you’ll find a comfortable seating area with 12v phone chargers. If you prefer to stretch your land legs, there’s an outdoor space for food preparation with a fully equipped camper’s kitchen — everything you need to prepare a simple meal or a hot drink.

As evening falls, relax around the fire pit (wood and kindling provided), pour a glass of wine, listen to the owls hooting and enjoy some uninterrupted stargazing.

A clean on-site toilet block with hot showers is just a short walk from the pod. (towels and toiletries are not provided)
